Representation of Automobile Dealerships
For over 30 years Mr. Martin has assisted a number of automobile dealerships with a variety of legal issues and disputes, including the representation of dealers in a state-wide Unfair Trade Practices lawsuit. Other types of cases handled on behalf of car dealers include products liability claims, warranty disputes, employer/employee disputes, personal injury suits, preparation of leases and other business documents, and corporate issues.
General Counsel Services to Businesses
The firm provides general corporations law services to businesses, including preparation of corporate minutes, contracts, real estate leases, and other business proposals, as well as assisting with the resolution of employment workplace disputes.

Unfair Trade Practices
Unfair trade practices encompass a broad array of torts, all of which involve economic injury caused by deceptive or wrongful conduct. The legal theories that can be asserted include trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, false advertising, palming-off, dilution and disparagement, and may be governed by common law as well as federal and state statutes and regulations.
Products Liability
We have handled a variety of claims alleging product failure, including claims of fire hazard in microwave ovens, defective pyrotechnics, defective breast implants, and defective automobile airbag deployment.

Our primary focus in the personal injury area is defending companies and individuals against liability claims.

We have defended a variety of employment related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, breach of contract, employment tort claims, wrongful discharge, and covenants not to compete.

The firm defends businesses and individuals against various types of personal injury and property damage claims, issues opinions interpreting insurance policy provisions, and assists insurance providers with arson investigations.
Appellate
Our appellate practice includes appeals of both federal and state court trial verdicts, and administrative rulings, on a varied range of subjects, including employment-related disputes, insurance coverage issues, dissolution of business relationships, eminent domain condemnation proceedings, and interpretations of business contracts. We have handled appeals on behalf of clients whose trials were handled by other firms.
